• When generating a static site, the process hangs once it reaches “230 of 685 pages/files”. If I cancel the process and redo it, it still hangs at the same spot. Looking at server resources, the PHP processes all shut down once this point is reached. I’ve increased the amount of memory allocated to PHP, and removed execution time limits, but with the same result.

Never mind, the increase in memory limit did not take. Redoing it made the plugin work. 128M memory is not sufficient; at least 256M is needed.

Thanks for reporting this issue, Christiaan. I’ll take a look and see if I can figure out why Simply Static is eating up so much memory — I have a couple theories. Hopefully we can get things working so that an increase in memory isn’t needed.

Awesome, thanks! I really like your plugin so far, and I’m hoping I can use it on a few sites I operate.
