Static Page vs Latest Posts

I’d like to use a theme called “Zerif” but I’m having a problem with it. It has some nice looking stuff in the template, services, an about area, contact, testimonials etc…

The problem is, when I select “static home page” none of that bottom stuff shows up correctly.

The only way I can make it all show up is to select “Latest Posts”, but then if I do that, the Home button on my primary menu doesn’t take people back to the main page. It just goes to the actual Home page, which in my case is empty.

So 2 questions:

1) How do I make all the bottom services and nice content appear while still having “static home page” selected?

2) If I can’t so that and I have to use “latest posts” then how do I make that Home button in the primary menu take people back to the actual main home page with the big picture?
