• Hi,
Just after installation of wordpress (5.2.7) the default setup is to start with a static page (3 pictures Morissot), but this not working as expected, I can see a blog page without any main menu. To recover normal working I’m obliged to go the theme setup and just save the current home page settings without any change.
I was ok with previous release of WordPress (or twenty twenty-one ?)
    Seen on different servers.
    Best Regard

WordPress got its start as a blogging platform, so it is normal for a blogging page to exist in new installations.

Yes I understand what you means, but WordPress as you known has the possibility to start with a static page not a only a blog. Just after a new installation (with the twenty twenty-one theme) the start-up is a static landing page showing three painting of Mme Morissot. But it is not the case, WordPress shows a blog page with in addition a problem because the main menu is not available. I think it’s a bug because this appears with a new release of WordPress or the theme. It is not a critical problem because we don’t use twenty twenty one theme.

That’s not a bug, that’s just how WordPress has operated for quite some time, it’s also not theme-related.
