Static page doesn't show content

I disabled the magazine issue plugin and now it works.

another problem: the header and footer background colour disappear. Header and footer are visible when customizing, but disappear after saving and publishing.

Yes the HomePage has its own design and content when the plugin is activated and if you want to have any other content apart from plugin’s then you need to deactivate the plugin.

For header and footer background color to appear, you need to first remove the background images of header and footer from Appearance > Customize > Theme Colors: Header Background Image and Footer Background Image. As the image will override the colors.

So remove the images and then apply color. Save it and then check.

It says: ‘No image selected’ in both Header and Footer Background Image. So there doesn’t seem to be an image selected to override the colors.

Also, because the Header and Footer Background colors are visible while customizing, but disappear when finishing the edit. What to do?
