Static page & Blog posts underneath

    Hi all,

    Fairly new to WordPress nad have just paid from a premium template for a festival. Slowly getting there, as completley new to coding.

    My issue at the moment, is that I have set a static front page but I wish to have blog posts underneath this static page. Now I have created a page entitled News, and set this as the Posts Page in Settings>A static page>Posts page: News.

    Now how to I create posts and allow them to appear in the News section?

    (Nothing about this in the template documentation/help me)
