    I have two problems.
    1. Changing Column Type to Hyperlink wipes out data in that column.
    2. “ERROR: Saving changes to database failed” while saving Hyperlink.
PS. I’m not using Dynamic hyperlinks: https://wpdataaccess.com/pricing/

    Hi Andrzej,

Welcome to WP Data Access! ?? Let’s try to fix these issues…

    >>> 1. Changing Column Type to Hyperlink wipes out data in that column.

This is usually the result of incorrect table settings. The plugin supports two different formats for hyperlinks: JSON and plain text. The JSON format is the default. It is meant to support additional hyperlink tag attributes. When your hyperlink is stored as plain text, you just need to change the hyperlink format in table settings so the plugin knows it has to handle these hyperlinks differently. To change this settings:
    – Start the Data Explorer
    – Click on the “Manage” link of your table
    – Open tab “Settings”
    – Click “Table Settings”
    – Set “Process hyperlink columns as” to Plain text
    – Save your settings

    >>> 2. “ERROR: Saving changes to database failed” while saving Hyperlink.

When you change the settings mentioned above (1.) this error will most probably disappear as well.

Can you please try this and let me know if it works?

    Thanks,
    Peter
