• Hi,

I want my pages/posts to be served as static html, so I check as per your FAQ “How do I know if my blog is being cached? / manual method”.

After enabling activity log and checking I get the following at the bottom of the source page of my homepage (only of my homepage, no other page or post source I checked prints it):

<!– Dynamic page generated in 11.701 seconds. –>
    <!– Cached page generated by WP-Super-Cache on 2022-02-07 03:16:32 –>

    <!– Compression = gzip –>

The timestamp remains the same when reloading as expected, but the text “super cache” is not being added as it should if it had been served as static html, as per the following information from your FAQ:
“If Supercaching is disabled and you have compression enabled, the text “Compression = gzip” will be added. If compression is disabled and the page is served as a static html file, the text “super cache” will be added.”

So, what am I doing wrong? I have followed the installation and configuration instructions, apparently with no success, I’m using the plugin precisely to serve static html files.

Thanks a lot for your help

    Best regards

Hi, I didn’t mention that it’s the same result with either expert or simple methods, there’s nothing added at the bottom of any page/post of my site, only this one on the homepage (as I mention before):

<!– Dynamic page generated in 11.701 seconds. –>
    <!– Cached page generated by WP-Super-Cache on 2022-02-07 03:16:32 –>

    <!– Compression = gzip –>

Of course no <!- Super Cache -> line anywhere either.

This is my site if you want to drop by and see https://www.lachicuela.com

    Thanks you!

    Best regards
