Static Homepage

  • I am running WordPress as a website, more than an actual blog, and I would like 1 post to remain static on the homepage, and no other posts to show. I currently have my main post showing with the “sticky” option, but when I add new posts, it puts them beneath the sticky post. I don’t want the new posts to show at all, rather I want to go able to link to the new posts from the homepage.

    Is this even possible? My site isn’t that large, I do not plan on having many posts, maybe a dozen or so. (although I have lots of pages too)
