I’ve got a “page” set up as my static home page. I have Ryan’s plug-in activated and everything looks good for the most part, but there is a date at near the top of my text on the “page”. Anyone know how to get rid of that?

Sorry, had a weird day yesterday!

My website address is https://www.grabertfamily.com. I need a new domain name…

Anyway, my page and index php’s are here:

I am always wondering why people struggle with all those plugins when there is a perfect built-in solution for “homepage”… Just create a home.php template file in your theme and edit it until it show exactly what you want. When visitors go to your blog, it will always display the home.php. See Template_Hierarchy

So I just add the html I want to put in there where things like “<?php if (have_posts()) : while (have_posts()) : the_post(); ?>” are located?

Never mind, I have it all figured out ??

I just added my own text until it looks right.
