Static Home page, posting at Blog on internal Page

I know that this was answered at some other time, but it related to an earlier version of WP. I am trying to get a static home page, and a second page with the continuous blog posting. The Settings/reading do not allow for this properly, and I can’t sort this out. I either continue to get posts on my home page which i don’t want, or the home page and my internal page blog become identical.

Any help here would be wonderful
