Static Home Page HELP!!

I need some help after 2 hours of accomplishing nothing lol. Ive been searching everywhere on how to convert my website from the way it is to just a regular static homepage. old posts say Settings—>Reading–>frontpage, but mine doesnt have the front page option. When i get to reading it only says max blog posts. i dont want any blog posts. how do you change 3.9 to a static page!! i dont want comments, blogging posts, times stamps, ETC. i just want a nice front home page with all my companies information
