Static home page

    Hi, I’m having a problem to set my static default home page and I need your help.

    As I found out, the way to do this is marking the option on “Settings > Reading > A Static Page”, but It’s not working for me. I chose a page to be the default static home, but it just not happens, the home page still the original one from the theme (‘Enigma’).

    Any hints on what I’m doing wrong?

    Hello,

    Your way is right for a static home page. But we don’t understand “the home page still the original one from the theme (‘Enigma’)” .

    Please give a screenshot for the issue with your site URL.

    I think I have a similar problem. When I set a static page it is highlighted in the top menu but the three slider pictures is all that shows plus that the static page is practically speaking inaccessible since when I click on it I just get the slider view.
    for OP: If I unselect frontpage (Theme options-> Theme general options->Show front page) I can get a static page, the slider is gone.
    For me I don’t actually want a static page at all and the only way I found to make that happen is to create a dummy page that’s not on the menu and make that the static front page since I can’t say no to static page and whatever I set becomes the sliding frontpage.

    Hii,

    After selecting front page from the customize. Go to dashboard -> Reading -> Check in to the static front page circle and select a front page from here. See the below image –

    And what do I do if I don’t want a static front page? I found no way to have just the slider going, my workaround is to create a dummy page and make that the static front page.

    I’ve managed to put the desired page as my default static home page, but it’s not showing correctly. It’s a table, but there is a ‘cut’ on the rigt side:
