I have changed themes, disabled plugins, created a new home page, checked my page readings, etc. I cannot get my home page to show for a static homepage. It will show if I use latest posts, but the static homepage will not work. I had a theme I used for years with no issue, I made minor changes to the theme’s links (instead of directing to the about to the blog, or whatever) and it broke. Changed themes and it appeared to come back, but it is not working. Now I’m setting up a new theme and I still am unable to get the homepage to show a static page.

If you go to /blog and click the menu from there, things work. Even /home works just not the static page.

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

The page you are trying to setup as static should be viewable via the preview link or the assigned permalink once published. You should then be able to select that as your static page from ‘settings’.

Right now, none of your website seems to work unless I add /blog/ to that URL. From there the rest of it works but your ‘home’ link points to ‘too many redirects’ so something isn’t right there.

Maybe set those settings to default and refresh your permalinks if you can. Once the site’s links work then try that page by itself… if it then works you can go for setting it to be your static page again.
