Static Front Pages Doesn't work.

  • I just updated to the new wordpress(I am running an older version on my other website, but for this one I updated.), and I have several themes with a HomePage with sliders and such. I want to set a blog page and a Home Page.

    So I did that…and set it to that. Then…something like this happens:

    Either

    A) The website has 2 “Home” pages one of which does nothing.

    or

    B) The “Home” page is set to the “Blog” page and the Front Page of the website is the “Home” page with NO Content.

    I have checked to make sure that the pages are set right…is this the theme? I thought that might be it, but every theme I have tried has done this, or could it be the new wordpress? I need help quick!
