Static Front Page plugin breaks links in posts

I just found, after enabling and disabling one by one all my plugins, that Static Front Page plugin 2.x break links edited in my posts (e.g. links pointing to URL). Html source code has been checked and is OK. I’d need an alternative to the plugin until it’s updated – anyone knows one?
