I am trying to start a blog on a part on my site. I want a static home page, lets call it home for now, which is a front page with some information and a widget that shows latest blog posts. I then want to link to a blog page, called blog for now. Everything works fine until i create a post, then the static front page is changed to a blog page, even though my settings are a static front page.
I have checked settings under Settings->Reading and changed that my front page is supposed to be static and the “home”-page and the blog page is the “blog”-page
I have also gone in to settings of the apperence of my theme (Ashe) and checked “Settings for front page” there where the settings are also correct.

If I remove the created blog post the static front page returns.

    What have I missed?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

    Hi @kickilna

At first, thank you for choosing our theme and service.

Can you please share the screenshots of the issue? To be honest, we have never had this kind of issue to be related to the theme as the theme does not control itself page roles, it’s a WordPress option.

Anyway, we will check the screenshots and we will do our best to help you.

    Kind Regards

    Hi @kickilna

Weird case. Please Navigate to Tools > Site Health > Info (tab) and click on the “Copy site info to clipboard” button, then send the information to our email: [email protected]

Also, navigate to Tools > Export – choose All Content and click on Download Export File and then send this file to our email – [email protected] as well

We will analyze your system and replicate the same case. This will help us to debug the issue much easier and provide a faster solution.

    Kind Regards
