Static front page issues

    I’m doing some revisions to my website (www.jamoroki.com), and I have acquired a
    floating page behind the rows on the static front page (Home).
    For the life of me I can’t get rid of it.
    Also Site Title and Tagline will not show when I remove the logo.
    This kind of issue is annoying because it wastes so much time, yet is probably
    easy to fix – if I knew how
