I’m working on a very simple wedding website. I’ve only been working in the regular interface – nothing in the editor. While updating content on my Front Page, I believe some of the code was altered unbeknownst to me. Now the Front Page content is duplicated with some kind of page break. I have no idea how this happened, how to correct it.

Please have a look, advise. Thank you!

UPDATE: I figured this out. Had to do with setting the Front Page “sections” place holders in Theme Options. Along with menus, have to update those “Sections” as well.

  • I’ll add a third to that as well. I wanted to have a static page displayed on the front page without my blog content. So I built a very simple static page with a single image included. Now I have no fewer than 5 repeated renderings of the same page both text and image.

Since no one has responded to these issues in the last 9 months, I’m not sure why I’m even posting it, but just think it must be something fairly simple to resolve.

Hopefully someone has encounter this and will share how to go about correcting the issue.

I have the same issue. A double image on the home page/section with a page break type of thing in between.

I don’t see away in your post, rickyhart

(@rickyhart), to correct it. Sorry, I’m a newbie. I need clearer explanations. Thanks in advance for any advice.

Never mind! When I left the Front Page Section 1 Content place holder blank, the problem disappeared. Thank you for giving me a clue to follow though.
