I set-up my front page with three featured pages along with accompanying images and a static page. All looks good when the site is initially rendered. After navigating to a different page and then back to the home page, the featured pages, accompanying images and static page disappear and all I see is a menu item titled Home. Any ideas on what is causing my featured pages accompanying images and static page to disappear? Refreshing the page does not help. I did notice and found peculiar that upon initially visiting the site the URL of the front page is localhost but after navigating to a different page and back to the home page the URL is localhost/Home the aforementioned content disappears from the front page.

  • Try going to the settings>reading area and saying that “home” is your static home page. That should fix it, I think.

Hi Josiah thanks for the feedback. Setting the home page as the static page in the WP settings -> reading area causes the static Welcome page to not display at all. The theme documentation has the static front page being set in the Customiz’it section of the theme which in turn sets the same in the Settings -> Reading area of WP. Still left scratching my head as to why navigating from page to page and back to the front page causes the featured pages and static page to disappear.

Do you have a url so i can see? That is strange?

I figured it out. I was using two different static pages as the front page/home page. I eliminated one and the content displays fine.
