Hi

I’m trying to setup a Facebook feed and it requests the following fields

capacity
product_width
product_length
product_height

I setup static Field mapping, but no matter what i put in (eg. capacity 11,11oz, 11oz), it either doesn’t detect the field or says Map in the FB report.

The feed data reads as i input it, FB doesn’t seem to want to read it properly

How should i be entering this data?

Thanks for this. That is strange indeed, the static values you added in your feed seem fine to me too. Can you share the product feed URL with us so we can have a closer look at it?

The field “capacity” is only allowed in certain specific product categories, see facebook’s help pages: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/commerce-platform/catalog/categories#cat-spec-fields

So, I suspect that Facebook is not showing the capacity data you add to your feed when the products are not in one of the above mentioned specific categories.

With regards to the other missing units Facebook is reporting on: we really don’t know why it is saying those fields are missing when they clearly are in your feed and do meet their guidelines. Are those Facebook notifications not old ones?

Sorry didn’t ecplain myself very well. The missing capacity fields in the second feed was from the report that said the field was blank, when its populated.

No the reports are not old as this is a fresh shop and am just starting to populate.

I am afraid we can’t tell what is wrong, as obviously, the data is in your feed and seems to meet their requirements. Did you already try reaching out to their support?

Hi

Had a reply from FB support, and they were not helpful at all. Their response was talk to a developer

Today i tried adding custom fields with the field names from the official template.

but get the same response of Map in the field data report.

completely at a loss as to were i’m going wrong
