    Hi,

    My stats have been off for a couple of weeks now… I hoped it would solve itself, but unfortunately not.

    Something similar happened last year and what solved it in the end was someone refreshing the sync of my site to your (Jetpack) servers.

    Any ideas what it can be/what I can do??

    Hi,

    They dropped 40-50% overnight and stayed down (I gave it a good few weeks). They fluctuate of course, but never that much and never for more than a day or two. The only time that happened was last year (December-January) and de refreshing solved it instantly. Hoping it’s that simple again…

    I don’t see anything particularly wrong with your stats or how they’re being counted.

    My best guess is that maybe your search traffic has dropped.

    That much? I find 40% overnight kind of hard to swallow…

    I’ve scheduled a full sync for that site, in case it makes any difference, but aside from a spike in traffic on 4 November, it looks like your site traffic has maintained a daily average of around 1500 views since October, and I don’t see any recent sudden drop in views like the 50% decline you describe.

    I also viewed several pages on your site, and all those views were recorded in your stats as I watched it, so from what I can see views to your site are being recorded as they should.

    I can’t attach screenshots, but week 14-20 October was still kind of normal looking, the week after that it dropped. Honestly can’t remember the last time my visitors (not views) dropped under the 1000 a day…

    As far as I can see mobile visitors dropped 41% compared to the previous month… Can this be caused by a plugin or amp maybe?
