starting on wordpress website from another server

    I am in the process to develop a website.
    Currently, they are hosting the website from some other party.

    I need to know what all details do I need from the hosting company to develop the website for them in the same domain.

    Do we need any other details other than the FTP access to their server.

  • Hi Gulsehar,

    Is your website being developed by you? If yes, and if your are looking to develop it locally then you just need the FTP details and you can download the entire website.

    You could use FileZilla to FTP into your remote server and download the website.
