Starter Plug-ins

    Hi

    I’m new to the forums.

    I am starting a brand new website and I have just got hosting and installed wordpress so far.

    Once I have my theme, I wanted to ask which plug-ins I should immediately install. I don’t mean from a site functionality perspective but from a site security perspective, i.e. iThemes Security or Akismet? … What about other things, i.e. Site performance/speed? … What other plugins do you advise that I install as standard before I start developing the site?
