Started export. 3 hours later, there is no indication of progress and no error

    I started the export (with “transfer files via FTP” checked and FTP credentials filled in) and walked away. 3 hours later, the “infinity” sign is still spinning in the green dotted line, but there are no files on my server and there doesn’t seem to be anything to download. Is this thing even working? How can I find out?

    My WP site is not very big. 7 pages, 8 posts. About 300 photos though.

    Hi @mrenergy,

    Developer of the plugin here. Are you using a standard or customized theme?

    It is usually (but not always) due to a certain way specific themes are structured that prevents the export to complete.

    Thanks for the reply.

    I have a very slightly modified version of the Twenty Twelve theme. Only thing I customized was some CSS for a layout bug and added an anchor link on the “previous / next” image links in galleries.

    Anyhow, I was able to get the Simply Static plugin to work, so no need to dig into this issue on my account. I’m unsubscribing from notifications on this post.
