Start With Search Box Only?

    I’m wondering if it is possible to start with only a search box. It’s a really large set of data, and I’d kinda like to protect the entire thing while still giving users access to the searched information.

    Sure. If you want to do something custom, do something custom. But you have to do it.

    I’m afraid I don’t have that level of skills. ??

    I was hoping for either a shortcode or a way to front-end the little search box to pass the query on to the page.

    Then I suggest you use this as an opportunity to practice developing those skills, ask a friend to do it for you, or resort to money to have someone else (not me) do it for you. That’s what money really is, after all: a social technology used to replace individual skill and human relationships. ˉ\_(ツ)_/ˉ
