Start with .COM or straight to .ORG?

  • Hello, I’m looking to start building my blog/website. I already have a lot of content and stuff I’ve planned out already, but i was wondering, should I start off on wordpress.COM then transfer everything through export>import to www.remarpro.com when the site is ready? I know I wont be making much but I’d really like the ability of having advertisements. Even if it was a few pennies a month, I’d still be happy watching my website grow. Also, how long does it take for google adsense to acknowledge your site and let you post advertisements? Do you choose the ads? How exactly does that work? What personal information do you have to present? Any help, opinions, or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!

  • If you can afford the extra month or so of hosting expense, I believe you will save yourself a lot of time and effort by buying web hosting now and going directly to self-hosting (www.remarpro.com).

    As for your Google AdSense questions, I don’t know the answers (if I did, I would tell you here), but I would suggest you should go to their support site for answers.
