Start Up issues

Hi

I feel like I am missing something obvious. I cannot seem to get the search option to work. I have added one test event called America Hall Bumps and Babes, you can find it by using the categories but not the search function.

Also when you click on the event, it says page cannot be found; do I need to change a setting somewhere to make it look in the right place?
