Start the show with a link

  • Good day and thank you for your powerful plugin !
    I wondered if there’s a way to open the tour guide modal with a link or button ?
    I set the tour to be only showed once per user, but I would like a way that they can start the tour just by clicking on a button or a link if they want.

    Is this possible ? I’m not a dev.

    Hi @onlinenc ,

    There is no such option in the plugin but I think you can accomplish this by taking advantage of the shepherd.js library that powers this plugin.

    What you would need to do is customize the plugin beyond the existing options.

    In this way, you will add your custom js file with your own logic and make use of all the options from the shepherd.js library. Please note that by adding your custom js file, you will also disable all the options from the plugin’s options page.

    I would suggest hiring a developer to do the job.
