Start playing video when enter viewport

If you have a paid Jetpack subscription that includes the Video block, you can set the video to autoplay in the Video block settings. This guide explains how to do that: https://jetpack.com/support/jetpack-videopress/add-video-block-editor/#block-settings

Alternatively, you could use a VideoPress shortcode with the autoplay=true parameter, as described here: https://jetpack.com/support/jetpack-videopress/jetpack-videopress-shortcodes/

Thank you @julesomattic ! but is there a way to start playing the video once user scrolls down to the video section? Not when the page loads, it will start playing the video once it enters the viewport.

@rose18 That’s not something we natively support. You may be able to achieve that using JavaScript Intersection Observer API or something similar but that level of customization is beyond the scope of our support.
