  • In the /wp-admin/options-reading.php page, what is the front page display set to?

I can’t find a setting for it at all in that file. What is the variable name?

I find a lot of things with promising content, like:
    <th scope=”row”><?php _e( ‘Front page displays’ ); ?></th>
    <td id=”front-static-pages”><fieldset><legend class=”screen-reader-text”><span><?php _e( ‘Front page displays’ ); ?></span></legend>

Don’t really see a page name there though.

Apologies, I mean to say, when you visit https://www.warpzonestudios.com/wp-admin/options-reading.php in your WordPress admin (backend), you will see a field called front page display. Typically, there are two options 1. Your latest posts (Blog) OR 2. Static Page. Likely, you will need to change from “Your latest posts” to “Static page” and select the page called Blog.

    Aha, I see!

But that page is where I want my blog posts so show up, so it can’t be static? I can’t set both front page and blog posts to be the blog page either, that gives me an error message.

Well, I tried anyway, and it works, but WordPress does not seem to like it. Are you sure it’s ok to set both settings to be the blog page?
