Hi,

I added a free course and manually enrolled a student into it. however when clicking on ‘start now’ on the course, the button continuously says redirecting and shows as an error. i need it to redirect them to login so they can immediately start it.

I went through the forum, and followed the suggestions given to others; made sure all the relevant settings are checked, disabled plugins in case they were interfering, made sure the order was completed, auto start, etc. but to no avail. it still does not work.

p.s. the same is happening to all free courses, even those open to everyone.

what can i do?

I’m having the same issue after having updated LP yesterday. If a student is NOT logged in to my website and they hit “Buy Now” to buy a paid course or hit “Start Now” to access a free course, they get a “404 error, page not found” message instead of the Login/Sign Up popup.

But if they login first then do the same, it all works properly.

The options to enable login and registration at checkout are enabled so I can’t figure out where the problem is.

I’m having the same issue on my website. I just updated WordPress, LearnPress, and updated everything else, and now I’m getting an error when someone clicks on the “Start Now” button,

As a Free source, this one shouldn’t even have a button.

hello .. i wasted hours on this issue as well then found a solution.

Actually clicking CONTINUE COURSE button redirects to null and not START COURSE button.

Look simplest way is to set a redirection using any redirection plugin. Like after clicking continue course button i was earlier redirected to this page –

https://social.castudyweb.com/courses/ca-intermediate-auditing-assurance-set-ii/null

but then i set a redirection to the first lesson or quiz of the course like this

https://social.castudyweb.com/courses/ca-intermediate-auditing-assurance-set-ii/quizzes/ca-inter-audit-mcqs-set-2/

so the redirection is saving me from the pain of landing on a 404 page when student clicks on continue course button.

Unfortunately, i don’t know root cause of this error and after so many hours of wasting time. I settled with this.

I have only one free course on my website.
Clicking on Start Now does nothing apart from the spinning working icon.
I installed the redirection plugin but don’t know how to change where the button redirects to or the location of the course.
