Start in Open View, and IE10 Letter Alignment

Using WP 3.5.1 and 1.5v of plugin.. Using it as widget and seems to work ok, except:
The Tab will NOT display when Start in open tab slide view is Un-Checked.
Setting times to 0 sec and checking box was a solution to get it working, but not really a good one..
Alignment of Text Tab Title seems to work ok in FireFox and Chrome, but in IE 10 letters are not rotated..
A suggestion as well.. It would also be nice to be able to change the color and styling of text in Tab Title for aesthetics.. It would also be nice to choose your own image rather than limited to the one provided in the plugin (this should be easy)..
All in All, a pretty decent plug-in, and with some minor upgrades and fixes.. would be a VERY Good!
Edit: Oh.. I did just notice the same problem another user noted.. the tab does disappear when resizing the window.. In Chrome, Firefox, and IE….
