:start doesn't seem to work

    or maybe I’m not using it correctly.
    I forward the emails that I want to post so you get that Original message part of the email that I want to strip off and then there’s the part that I want to start with always begins with DETAILS
    so I tried
    DETAILS:start
    and :start-DETAILS
    and a few other variations but nothing worked. SO how do I use this?

    Postie looks for the text you have specified in the “Tag Of Message Start” setting and removes everything up to that point from the post.

    For example if your email looks like:

    Random stuff I’d like removed.

    –start of message–

    Here is the main message

    Then the “Tag Of Message Start” setting should be “–start of message–” (without the quotes)

    How do I use the :start and :end ??

    I need this to work I’ve tried everything I can think of and it just doesn’t seem to change anything

    “:start” is just the default text. You need to change it according to your situation.
