• First of all, thank you for this plug-in. It does everything I need it to do, though there are a few things I still wish it could do. (Maybe there are workarounds that actually allow it to these things already?)

    1) My club has monthly competitions and know the date each will start. Is there any way to have the form disabled until the submission window begins?
    2) In connection with the above, if the form could be invisible (instead of showing a message that it’s not available for uploads), then all the forms for the year could be placed on one page, but only the current competition form would be visible at any time.
    3) Any way to allow the deadline/closing date to appear even if a member isn’t logged in?

Again, thank you for the plug-in. Despite wanting more from it, it really is the most complete tool specifically for camera competitions I’ve been able to find.

Automating the opening of a form is near the top of my to-do list. But it turns out to be rather more complicated than it appeared initially, so it will not be available for the next release. Possibly for the one after. But I’d caution that relying completely on something like this is a bit risky. You would need to carefully check out the appearance of each form ahead of time before closing all but one.

If you set the “upload is closed” text in the settings to a space (it is a required field, so right now it can’t be completely blank), all that will display is the title of the webform. If others like the idea, I could fairly easily make the display of the title optional, too.

I’ll put it on my list to look into the feasibility of your third request. It may not be too hard to do as an option. Myself, I prefer the belt-and-braces approach of making the page itself invisible until a user is logged in, so hackers get as little information as possible.
