Stars not showing up unless is refresh page twice

Hi,

I am using this excellent plugin wp-postratings. I have put ratings (using shortcode) at post level. I introduced hummingbird to my website recently for caching. I saw that I was getting error submitting ratings so I switched off caching for posts and after that, ratings started up showing. But star image does not show up unless i refresh a page twice. My whole website is based on reviews so it has gone for a toss. Any help will be highly appreciated.
