Stars missing in the RICH Snippet on some Sites

I just suggest to use the itemType that best suits your posts / page , and I also suggest to read this post by google https://webmasters.googleblog.com/2019/09/making-review-rich-results-more-helpful.html

i already tried changing around the itemtypes but ill give it another try today. i guess i have to wait untill google re-crawls the site in order see if it did the job or not right?

thanks for ur help, i still dont get how stars appear on the itemtype recipe even tho the site isnt even close to being a recipe

Okey so,

i started changing the ItemType for all my pages and everything started going well, i was just waiting for google to recrawl my sites and a most of the ones getting recrawled started showing stars again but all of the sudden all the stars on 95% of the pages disappeared after i did an update to v2.4.5

This is not related with the update, that part of the code is untouched.

It is just google :/

i read through it, yet dont understand it fully. That means that the rating wont be displayed in the search result when the itemtype is organization, local business or blog right? im pretty new to this explicit stuff

for organization and local business it is a bit more complicated.

However, the point is another: the itemType should reflect the content of the post / page

Any plan to add support for the HowTo schema?

I write howto articles. Currently, my ratings aren’t showing in Google’s rich snippet.

Yep, that itemtype is the only one missing from the supported one by google (here the full list )

But I’ve not an ETA yet.
