Hi, we’re working on a fix regarding rich snippets (aka “Schema” aka “structured data”). It’s in the final testing phases and should be released very soon.
However, an older version (or this new fixed version) does not guarantee your reviews will come back on Google. Google recently changed its algorithms and is slowly removing all “self serving” reviews from their results. Everything may be correct in your schema, but Google will no longer display the stars and overall rating in their results, if they deem them to be “self-serving.” You can read more about it here: https://www.searchenginejournal.com/google-reviews-rich-results-update/326075/
I’m not totally sure how they define that, but it seems to mean that if your business captures reviews about your business on your own website (and therefore can filter and choose what’s displayed) then Google considers that self-serving and won’t display that in the search results.
To be clear: if that’s what’s happening, it has nothing to do with Rich Reviews plugin and is all on Google. It’s their platform, they can do what they want, and there’s nothing we can do about it. So you may see your stars disappear regardless of plugin version.
