• Hi,
I realized a very strange thing on the wesite and it looks it happens from the date the Tag manager plugin was activated. Can you pls help with it?
We have 3 different websites (with different 3 analytics accounts, 1 has TAG manager code)
I have issue with ‘https://okosotthon.bolt.hu/webaruhaz’ analytics account.
In the Google Analytics account from the activation date shows the data of the other 2 websites.
This sounds wierd, but it is.
In the tag manager plugin the rigth GTM- code is written.

Can it be any conection with the plugin?
    Thank you very much!
    Best regards,

    Réka

    Szia Réka ??

(Though we are both Hungarians, I suggest to keep the conversation in English so that others can learn from it if needed)

In your site, GTM4WP is active, but the GTM container code is added manually as well. This could lead to multiple parallel tracking. You should remove this second GTM container code. It can be found either somewhere in the theme options or in a template file, like the header.php in your template.

I also see some JavaScript error in the console while visiting the site related to your GDPR plugin.

I do not see any active Google Analytics tracking though.

If you can let me know the URL of the 2 mentioned websites, I can have a look at them as well.

    Thanks,

In https://okosotthon.bolt.hu/webaruhaz/ I still do not see any Google Analytics tracking active even after fully accepting the consent bar.

https://www.marketcom.hu/sonoff-shelly-nagyker-disztributor/ – here I do not see that GTM4WP is active but I can see a manually added Universal Analytics tracking code: UA-183529072-1

    https://www.marketcom.hu/sonoff-shelly-nagyker-disztributor/
Here I can see this property ID as active: UA-183520244-1

    Hi Tomi,
supposed that if use Google Tag Manager then the link between homepage and analytics is ok. If I activate plugin for analytics, it remember me that both of them is not necessary.
Notice: you should deactivate the plugin "Google Analytics for WordPress by MonsterInsights" if you are using Google Analytics tags inside Google Tag Manager!
Is it possible to add the analytics code in tag manager, did I missed something?

    Thank you!
    Réka
