    Hi,

    I’m from Spain.

    I’m doing a local food website, where I’m using Mc-print3 + Star CloudPRNT plugin for Woocommerce. Also, I have bought the plugin “Product Add-Ons” for Woocommerce and I put some additional order information in the selector of the products.

    My problem is that, this kind of information doesnt appear on the result ticket when it gets printed.

    I saw that you have a beta version or a email print solution.

    What I have to do to resolve it? what advice could you give me?

    Thanks,

    @iranig Hi,
    Support for printing extra data on the receipt depends a lot on how the plugins that generate that data add the information to the order. But in my experience, most Add-On plugins add metadata to the product item, and this should print as long as you have version 2.0.0 or later of the plugin installed.

    If you don’t have at least 2.0, then you can update through the usual WordPress plugin update process, or download version 2.0.2 from here.

    If you already have 2.0 installed, could you let me know exactly which Add-ons plugin you are using? unfortunately there are many and all can be different so we can not make any guarantee of compatibility.

    If version 2.0 doesn’t not work for you, then yes the email printing solution may be the best fix. Let us know and we can help you to set it up.

    @lawrenceowen Hi!

    Thanks for answer so soon!

    I use this Add-on plugin:

    After reading your answer, I will install version 2.0 as you have told me and then I will let you know how it goes.
    Thanks a lot!

    Hi @lawrenceowen ,

    I have looked at the version I was using and it was already 2.0.2
    So that metadata still doesn’t work.
    Should I use email printing? or maybe go back to previous versions?

    Waiting for your answer!
    Thanks a lot

    That’s a shame, I was hoping it would be as easy as an update. Yes, the email printing is an option as long as the information you need is included with the New Order emails from your site, and you are happy to adjust the template so that it can fit the printer paper size correctly. But you mention using a previous version, does that mean it was working correctly with an earlier release of our plugin?

    Great, so how could I configure Email printing, is it a plugin? How can I carry it out?
    Is there a tutorial that I can follow?
    Answering your other question. No, it has never worked, I said it as a possible solution.

    @iranig For the email solution, you will need to contact Star directly, because we need to pass some account details for using the service. Please not also that runs on Star servers and is therefore not free (although currently free, there will eventually be a monthly cost). You can get in touch directly by contacting either the support or sales team (either can help) at https://star-emea.com/contact/

    OK, thanks for clarifying, I was a little concerned that maybe I had introduced some issues with later versions. I will test your linked plugin too, and see if there is a solution to getting it working.

    So thankful about your support.
    I would try email printing solution, but if you found a solution with that plugin it will be the best option for me.
    I’ll keep you informed. We are in touch!
