standings generator with begin and end dates

  • First of all, we bought and installed this two addons in our multisite environment:

    We found it’s possible to generate an agenda for the games for each bracket.
    Would it be possible to do the same also for the league (we mean an agenda for the standings too)?
    If yes, how? If not, please contact us we are interested for you to develop it!

    We need to be able to set the start date for the beginning of tournaments/leagues and to choose also the preference for the week day and the time of the game. We aim to create a flow such as: Once chosen the first day of tournament and the preference about weekday and time of the game, we’d like the plugin to create the schedule observing these infos.

    Thanks for posting here. I’d be happy to help you with what you need, but I’m still not sure what’s missing. What is an “agenda”? Do you mean “tables” like these? https://dev.shoalsummitsolutions.com/lm-schedule-tables/ https://dev.shoalsummitsolutions.com/lm-league-standings/

    If so, what’s missing? If not, take a look through the samples at https://dev.shoalsummitsolutions.com. Does anything look like you want?

    With “agenda” we mean the scheduling of round robin tournament.

    Hi,
    Thanks for the screenshot. That helps. For a round robin tournament:

    – No plugin has anything like the “checker board at the top right.
    – The games and the results can be shown as a league schedule. https://dev.shoalsummitsolutions.com/lm-schedule-tables/ You can control what columns are displayed and in what order.
    – The standings can be shown as a simple standings table. something like what is shown here. https://dev.shoalsummitsolutions.com/lm-league-standings/ You can control what columns are displayed and in what order. If I am interpreting the column headings correctly, all but “QP” are available. I’m not sure what “QP” means.

    Hi mark ty,
    We know that is possible to show the scheduling and the standing through the shortcode. We need a different thing: automatically generate the games matching as it is for the bracket. We’d like to have an automated generator of matches for the round-robin, and if it’s possible to be able to choose game day and and the day of the beginning of the tournament. A->automatic team matching. B->manual team matching ( dropdown selection )

    Okay, now I get it. I actually started this capability a couple of years ago. Then the requirements spiraled a bit out of hand – minimum time between games, automatic scheduling of locations, fields, courts, etc, simple round robin, double round robin – home & home, feed round robin ‘group play’ into a bracket automatically, etc. My efforts ended up focused on Bracket Builder, and there is no automatic RR schedule generator.
