• I will have my webiste: https://www.luminair.com and I want to integrate a wordpress blog into it. Right now, I just do a standard PHP, but want something more advanced, with RSS and other features. The question I have is, if I want the blog in a subfolder “Blog” and I want to have the posts in the blog in either whole form or with a word count before going to a “Read More” and the most important feature is to have the TITLE of each posts on the Front Page of the website, that when clicked go to the post, or the user can go to the blog and read an abbreviated form of the post. How can I do this? I hope I’m being as clear as I can be for you. Thanks for your advice

  • I believe Giving_WordPress_Its_Own_Directory explains what you need.

    Thanks Michael –

That answers one part of the questions:

    1. I want a subfolder for wordpress, in the options I direct the blog to the subfolder.

    2. I want to set up a PHP or something that I can have my regular website, not CMS’d by WordPress. It’s a site that’s been built, and I maintain it. I just want to enhance it with a WordPress Blog, that routes the post Titles to the home page of my regular website from the wordpress blog. This I don’t know how to do at all?

    3. I want the posts on the main page of the blog to be shortened to a certain word length, is their a way to do this automatically?

    Thanks for any advice

How do I get posts from the Blog page to the front page of my standard blog?
