• Hi,

I used to have my standard template including a widget bar on the right (tag cloud).
But I actually only need that widget bar on the blog page, the other pages I like ‘full screen’. So on the other pages, I choose a different setting
However, when installing an LMS, the pages showed the widget bar on the right. As I am unable to edit those pages, I couldn’t change the setting to full page.

So I deleted the widget bar (in the theme customizer).
It doesn’t show on those LMS-pages, however, I do miss it on the blog page.

IS there any way I could change the standard template to full page, and have the ‘widget bar’ page as a setting-option (like raster-page is a setting-option)?

    Thanks in advance
    &
    Have a nice day

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hi there,

You can use the widget visibility settings in the Customizer, added by the Jetpack plugin, to control whether or not specific widgets show on specific pages:

    https://jetpack.com/support/widget-visibility/

Else you can try using custom CSS code to hide the sidebar on pages where you don’t want it. If you can give a link to an affected page I’m happy to try and help you with the code for that.

That is possible, but involves modifying the theme’s PHP files where the page templates are declared. That will require you to create a child theme of Dara to make these changes. We are not able to provide support for that kind of customization.
