Stalled and stuck on the word “Loading”

  • Hello. I’m using WordPress Version 6.1.5. I put together a fresh installation and added File Manager Advanced and a few other plugins. I then tried to upload the BuddyBoss plugin which I downloaded from BuddyBoss web site. It wouldn’t upload due to file size allegedly exceeded. I then installed one plugin after another that I know always work, but this time, none worked to increase upload file size.

    I then logged into cpanel and tried to use that file manager, and it stalled with a red warning. I put up a ticket with the host. The host claimed nothing was wrong, and to my surprise uploaded and installed BuddyBoss plugin without my asking for that step. Meanwhile File Manager Advanced STILL doesn’t work, it always says “Loading’. Why would that happen? I uninstalled and reinstalled it a few times, no change. Very upset. I want my dashboard File Manager back again. Is it database damage? Back-end damage? A wordpress defect? Screenshots:

    Meanwhile, I used the dashboard plugin installer to install “WP File Manager”, and it can access the back end, no trouble. It’s okay, but I want my File Manager Advanced back and working.

    UPDATE:

    I have just discovered that by deactivating BuddyBoss Platform free plugin (obtained from the BuddyBoss web site), Advanced File Manager starts to work again. I’m using BuddyBoss Version 2.5.40. I would really hate to lose my File Manager. Is there a work-around for this? Thanks in advance.
