Stained Glass GL Items Widget BUG

  • After having uploaded images for the three GL Items widgets in the Home First Top Sidebar I find it ALMOST IMPOSSIBLE to attach an image link to an internal page.Very occasionally I have managed to set the link in the associated Display Link field by repeating and varying my actions. I can not work out How.
    I pasted the Permalink address into the LINK field (More options) but it almost invariable disappears when doing a Save or Apply (Nb Images) or even going to another field.
    It is clear that the code is seriously bugged but, awaiting a correction, can anyone give me a reliable sequence of actions which will allow me to apply the links and possibly eliminate the need for the button so that my pages can be activated directly from the image.
    I have PageLines installed and the Hover Effect Style is Caption(1).

    I have found the/a trick for setting the internal links :
    1) first set an external link in the widget field (this ‘sticks’)
    2) then edit this link to be the appropriate internal page/post (this now ‘sticks’)
    … strange but true.
    I have so far only got it to work with a display button but will keep trying to get this to work with the link directly on the image – UNLESS SOMEONE CAN COME TO MY HELP and explain the next step.
