Staging Site Blocked – Malware Firewall

    Hi there,

    I’ve just followed the steps to set up a staging site and when I click the link to the staging site it just shows:

    MalCare Firewall

    Blocked because of Malicious Activities

    Reference ID: 93326131367188c2336d49

    Hi @fricandfracmarketing
    I believe this is something related to MalCare security plugin you have installed on your live site. When you first open the staging site from the link in this pop-up box, it will try to log you in directly into the staging site, and the security plugin might block this request by mistake (you can report this to them).

    Try to load the staging site’s URL in a new tab (copy/paste the staging site’s URL) and it should open normally, and you should be able to log in.

    Hi Alaa,

    Thanks for getting back to me. I tried copying and pasting the URL in a new tab, and also in an incognito window, and both came back with the same alert.

    I’d like to find out what exactely is blocking the access and see if there is a way that we can bypass this block.
