Staging site

My website is hosted by Sitereoung.com and I’m using a staging site for development and maintenance. I installed and configured Weglot pugin on the staging site. Updating the production site from the staging site, Weglot doesn’t work on the production site.
After the update the production site should be exactely a copy (files and db) of the staging site, the only difference is the url (mysite.it for the production site and site2.mysite.it for the staging site).
