    Hi,

I have inherited a site that is using mailchimp. When pushing from Staging to Live do i need to be worried about losing data in Mailchimp or is it all stored on your servers?

What is the best practise for this? I dont want to lose any important client data.

    Many thanks

@dreubens81 typically when in staging, it wouldn’t be used for the Mailchimp plugin – however, if you did a true production clone and then installed the plugin, ran through all the syncing etc. then the only thing you would want to make sure of is that the plugin settings carry over from staging to production.

The data pushed to Mailchimp, is indeed still in your Mailchimp account. If you run into any sort of issues on the migration, the worst thing that you would have to do is re-sync your data once you re-install the plugin in production.

Let us know if you have any issues at all of course ??
