Staging Error

The issue you experienced is a bug within our plugin which will be patched with official version soon, nevertheless it only appears on specific sites, above beta should fix the issue permanently.

Just installed v1.3.4.3 but the Staging still fails, although it gets a bit further before it fails.

This is the error code given: BMI-uKTUDoMt-85453
The error log has also been sent to you.

Maximum table name length is 64 characters.

Our plugin clones all tables and adds new prefix, in this case this table:
b11mi14_stg46148_amelia_providers_to_specialdays_periods_location

Unfortunately, above is exactly 65 characters, one too much for database.

We use this specific prefix to determine our staging sites from other staging plugins and also for manual verification reasons, it makes it a bit long tho.

Could you please let me know if this table is very important to you, or if you can temporary rename or remove it?

Otherwise I can prepare for you special version of the plugin which will make the prefix a bit shorter.

Looks like there are another 2 tables with longer names:
wp_amelia_providers_to_specialdays_periods_services
wp_woocommerce_downloadable_product_permissions

Thank you for adding these tables, fortunately these are actually a bit shorter than the one which failed.

It should have prefix shorted by few characters.

I managed to create a local ‘staging’ site with the new beta version of the plugin. However, when I am on the staging site and go to any page it looks like it jumps back to the live site. I am using the Divi page builder on the website.

On the staging site go to “Settings” -> “Permalinks” -> Select “Plain” -> Save.

That should resolve the issue unless the site overwrites the redirections recursively via .htaccess ??

All working now. The Permalinks were already set to “Plain” but I refreshed the Permalinks and cleared the W3 Total Cache and that seems to have sorted the problem.
