• Hi,
not sure if that’s the right place to post, please let me know if not.

I guess I’m not the only one is this situation: I design websites for clients, and the ideal scenario for me is to have a staging site (A.com) and a production site (B.com), I design A.com show it to the client and when they’re happy to go live I push the files to B.com.
When they want an update, easy, play with A and send to B.

As I said this is an ideal scenario… does anyone know how to achieve this with minimum fuss? I currently use a backup/migrate solution but it’s a real pain, so I would welcome suggestions.

That’s a good startegy, play with A and send to B.

Give this plugin a look, it may help you accomplish what you’ve described.

    Thanks Jan,
that is a right step in the right direction! but far too complicated for a day-to-day use when you have over 10+ clients that want to update their site with minor changes.

What I’m looking for (ideally) is to have 2 buttons on my dev. site (A) one says [UPDATE] – that would do just that update the page, like it is on any wp page/post and the second button would say [PUBLISH] and that would send the changes to the B site.
So I could send the A url to my client, once they’ve approved the changes I could then publish them to the B site.

Simple awesomeness ?? (any developer out there?)

@dids-wp Please don’t post the same topic twice. Duplicates get zapped when found.

You’ve posted in the right place, you just need to be patient.
