Stage site as another site in mulitsite network

  • Hi Jamin,

    is it possible to clone the live site to another site in the multisite network and use this clone as the new staging site? The site is renamed during the clone process to site.com/staging for example. Following this process I already have a new “stage database”, right?

  • You probably figured this out already, cfizzle, but copying or cloning a subsite of multisite and moving/adding it to another subdomain/directory does NOT also create a new database within WPMS.

    You can create one using cPanel
    or
    using phpMyAdmin
